While. casting senkos, Ned rig, and keitech on an 1/8oz ball head I’ve found mono to cast further than the braid which is the exact opposite of what you read about casting distances with these two lines.I have 10lb braid , and when trying 4lb line to it, I do somewhere like 4-8 wraps with the fluoro, and then double that with the braid. I try to spread the tension of the line wrap across a bigger area with thinner braid. Something like 6-6 wraps of each would probably work.
