Oct 27, 2018 · It is a different type of damage than regular, non-lethal, or other forms of Damage. Each Ability Score damage should be tracked separately from each other and normal damage. Strength Damage has specific penalties every time it increases to an even number: For every 2 points of damage ... [a creature takes a] penalty on Strength-based skill ... Bleh. Ability score damage isn't a big issue. Numerous different classes can learn the lesser restoration spell early which will cure it a few points at a time and scrolls and potions for it are also sold by merchants. It was infinitely worse in Kingmaker where it happened far earlier, before you even had access nor funds for those things. Condition. The spell it uses is Neutralize Poison (Cleric 4) which can prevent worsening Damage but not heal it. Greater Neutralize Poison(Cleric 6) counters Damage from poison and is a Standard Action.
