That particular automation arm power has long been a problem child and as it currently stands still remains almost completely useless. It only deposits anvil production items once per day at the daily reset (when shops restock etc.), and ONLY on the first character you log into/are on when the reset happens.

It took 40 minutes killing beans to get the same amount. The overall amount of statues was much better on beans though. Slimes, snakes and carrots have the power statue in their drop table which is why you get more. At a 1/40 crystal chance at least. A higher crystal chance probably makes beans better overall, I guess.
