DR in the tooltip says it is capped at 80%, this does not seem to be the case, at least that is how it seems to me. My guess is that there is no cap right now and that the two types of DR are applying in different instances. (Damage - DR% = X) & (X - Armor DR% = End Product Damage). This is just a guess.

I used Iskal hunter band for a while to decrease shotgun spread. My second build was made to be as much of a tank as possible: Repulsor. Defiler.

For the best Tank build, I recommend a Challenger + Engineer archetype build focusing on Utility, High resistance to damage, and ludicrous melee damage.
