I started on Survival difficulty. The differences which I know are: Enemies do 2x damage. Player character does 50% damage to enemies. There are more Legendary spawns. Health regens A LOT slower when eating/drinking/using Stimpacks. You get better loot because more legendary enemies spawn. Not sure about more XP.
