From what I understand (and def. could be wrong), but you could get your exam (not contact fitting) from kaiser. Pay $0 as it is included and then take your perscription somewhere else to get the glasses. VSP gives you a lump sum amount to spend for glasses, contacts, exam, etc. Whatever.
