When I drop the firing pin into the bolt and try to put in the firing pin retaining pin, the retaining pin hits the top of the firing pin head preventing me from putting the retaining pin in. I don't know of any springs required for the bolt assembly. Just the bolt, firing pin and firing pin retaining pin. Any ideas what I'm missing here?

On one of my 39a's the firing pin was slightly curved. I was having a lot of the same issues with mine. My grandfather and I straightened it very carefully with a hammer.
