AT&T probably doesn’t want to maintain U-verse anymore. The software is outdated for one. We haven’t had new CPE for uverse since the acquisition of DTV. They did have to “manufacture” some new DVRs during a major shortage of them.. but even those were garbage. It’s just super outdated. I have rebooted my IPH8005 U-verse tv receiver by holding the power button down for 10 seconds and it did not fix the issue. I then unplugged the receiver from the power source to do a second reboot, and that did not work either.
