Heat Gun. A heat gun is the best source of heat, but a blow dryer does an adequate job too. Simply heat up the entire area of the seam and pry up the edge, followed by pulling the wrap. Use caution. The heat brings out an odour which likely is an indication of toxic fumes. The wrap and adhesive also catches on fire if the heat level gets too high.
Do a quick low temp pass over to check if any form and get rid of them before post heating. Naked flame gets to temp very quick. Keep the flame moving at all times. Just wrap it using a torch where needed but once your all done take it back to your house or somewhere with power and post heat with the heat gun.To use a heat gun to shrink wrap, first, make sure that the wrap is tightly secured around the item.
