This was easily achieved with a simple nipple change. The rifle continued to perform flawlessly and maintained its superb accuracy with Select Pyrodex Loose and 260 knight sabots. Shortly after this the 209's became the rage, and offered even more reliable ignition. Knight came out with a conversion kit for the MK, and I switched over to the 209's.

I had a 209 conversion for my MK85. But the plunger length on my LK-II is shorter so unless Knight makes the conversion kits in more than one length, I don't think the LK-II can be converted. That said, I was able to shoot BH209 successfully out of the LK-II with the #11 caps.I found several between E-bay, Gunbroker, Midwayusa, Cabelas, etc. Then waited for the right sale, and ordered when they were back in stock.
