First of all let me say that I have only had this problem when I park my truck in the driveway, which is uphill, and go out to start it in the morning. I get in the truck, warm up the GPs, and then crank it up. Once it turns over it runs fine for about 5 seconds and then dies, in a way that seems like a fuel issue, like its out of diesel.

Inspect the fuel lines to/from the CP4 and make sure they are not dry rotted/cracked or kinked in any way. Inspect all fuses.Next day change fuel filter message and no start.
