Lost mucus plug after sweep.
At both I've been more than 2cm dilated. I had some bleeding after the first sweep and lost my mucous plug. I haven't noticed anything following the second sweep. Apparently it can take up to 48hrs so I have my fingers crossed that it may still have worked. Only time will tell. I'll be interested in hearing from those where the sweep was effective.
I'm 40+2 and had a sweep at 9:30am. So far just some mild cramping and a little nausea. I was only 1cm and 30% so maybe my body just isn't ready. But I haven't had any kind of bloody show and it's 1pm. Did anyone else have things happen much later after their sweep?Every woman is different and every labour is different.
