Having ignore defence from savage+cruel makes much bigger difference than having more stats. The 5% ignore def from cruel is around 10-12% dmg increase against targets with 4-5k defence. Rotos damage is also based on HP. If you just focus on attack and crit you're cheating yourself, plus missing some survivability.
