I personally through our in house dyno tuning find that ratios of 12.9 (being the richest) and 13.3:1 will make more horsepower.

Re: 28 SS with Arnesons. The price seems a touch too high for me. I like the twin turbo engines, though. If I bought the boat, the engines would come out. I would install fuel injection because its easy to find for a small block. While the engines are out, I'd re-rig it. I found an 86 28ss in December for $10K and my best friend bought it.Location: BC. They are a nice cheap upgrade from the stock round (peanut) port heads on the 330s. With flat top pistons the CR is about 9:1 and they do flow better than the round port heads. $300 plus shipping.
