Yes there is a glitch and somebody pasted a link to a video for it already. buuut it really isn't a problem since the 2 hearts are a minuscule portion of health and max stamina really is pretty necessary, plus it's good to have those 2 hearts missing so you can still get benefits from temporary (yellow) hearts so I'd say leave it as is
