It's not possible for eye textures to be missing without the entire texture for faces to also be missing. Midlander texture for comparison, displaying the obvious difference in shading style used. TL;DR they wanted Au Ra to have fake looking doll eyes. That's mildly unnerving. Wow... that explains so much.
