I'd say Friis Bay or all the way out to Privateer Bay. Both beaches are rocky but beautiful. For sunsets, you could try Salomon or Hawksnest. I vote for Hawksnest. Starfish is the most consistent option for lobster on St. John. Yes to Calabash for local fish as well as great Mediterranean dips. Dave’s Coral Bay Fresh Market has fresh fish that he vacuum packs.
