May 19, 2015 · Heres a good test to reproduce problems if you have both a Roamio and a Mini: 1) Tune an encrypted channel on the Roamio -- I used A&E. 2) If you try to watch the same channel on your Mini, the Tivo will use two tuners to do so. 3) V58 errors galore every 5-10 minutes on the Mini. Call the Comcast support line. When the IVR asks you what to help with, say "Cable Card". You should get transferred directly to level 2, when they answer, say you need Cable Card support. They should then transfer you to the Cable Card dept. I have had much better success calling later at night than during the day.

Jul 12, 2022 · Accepted Solution. After many calls and repeating the same information to multiple people, we eventually were told to go to the xfinity store and get a new cablecard. After installing and calling up to get it paired and restarting the TiVo it now works again. The process was not painless but at least things are working again for the time being. I always thought is was cable signal issue. More recently I started getting V58 Error Code Cannel Not Authorized on 3 of the 4 tuners. I called the comcast cable card support team, which is the only tech who will be able to help you at comcast. Additionally it appears that Tivo App (Android) sees the Tivo, however when I attempt to connect to the box it just hangs. and sometimes provides a 'Signon Error' message. On top of that PyTivo still can not connect either, though the MAK has remained the same. All is not perfect, but at least I can use the Tivo to record shows again.
