Arris s33 vs netgear cm2000.
I believe they're both running the same chipset. However, I recently switched to Netgear CM1000 because my Aaris CM8200 (same as SB8200 from what I understand) was acting strangely. I had it for about 2 years and it's been acting strangely for the past year. Just didn't seem as responsive as before.
Didn't have any issues with my 8200, just upgraded to the S33 though. Same price new. CM1000 is good for me. I don't think you can go wrong with either. I've used Motorola/Arris cable modems for years with no issues whatsoever.
