20 posts · Joined 2018. #1 · May 1, 2023. Have a 2016 gen 2 with 125k on it, started getting a p0299. Scan tool says 1 psi of boost is all it will make at wide open throttle. I at first didn't notice the lack of power but after a highway trip it's apparent. Anyway, I've read lots about the gen1 turbos but not much on gen2.

I was getting about a code every 2 months. Then recently it became very regular.
