When I bought my 2001 CR-V SE 4WD in late August 2021 I changed the spark plugs and found oil on them as well as a leaking valve cover gasket that I knew would need replacing. However, it was at the time I returned to college so I put off the repair and got busy with school.

Replaced the coil and now it runs like new but it still gives P1399. We tried another set of coils and brand new plugs I had saved just to see and still same code.
