Make sure the harness to the switch isn't rubbing against something causing the problem. What oil filter is being used on the car and we are talking about the 2012+ Accent?

Jun 1, 2015 · It could be either of the two. You would need to isolate the hazard control wire coming from the BCM while the lights were on to see if that made them switch off. If they went off then the relay is OK and it's a spurious output from the BCM that's casing the problem. Funnily enough, there is a thread running on the NF Sonata forum about the ... When random stalling happens, the first thing to do on an Elantra is to change the oil and filter. What happens is that the oil cvv timing solenoids get dirty. They can't do their thing so they retard the timing so much that is cuts the engine, usually on deceleration.
