Honestly it seems like they are correlating pretty well… it’s not the end of the world and it’s not like 90s comat scores are horrible. If you want to increase the comat scores you need to change up the study plan a bit.

It definitely prepares you for the question style of the comat. If your trying to get a top score I’d say you probably need to supplement in an additional qbank or use more resources. But for strictly having a strong base OME+ comquest you can pass the exams 100%. How did your comquest correlate to the actual score?

COMATs: OMM (summer before 3rd year): 97. Surgery: 94. OB Gyn: 92 (2nd toughest one for me cuz of vignette length and timing) Psych: 100. IM COMAT was canceled for me cuz of COVID back in March (would have told me a lot) FM: 97. EM: 94 (toughest one for me, made my own deck and rearranged everything) So I only have one more weekend to study for the IM COMAT. So far I have done ~300 uworld questions. I am debating if I should just focus on doing as many uworld questions as I can vs get a COMBANK or a COMQUEST and run through all the questions in a week. You can pass. I’d recommend watching the Emma Holliday internal medicine video on YouTube and reviewing the pdf nightly. I’d also slam the Combank questions in 2-3 days since there’s only like 120 of them, and briefly review incorrects. I personally only did uworld and nothing else and didn’t even finish more than 40% of the IM shelf questions. Definitely do UWorld IM shelf questions.I typically aimed for 1000 questions each exam. I was also studying for step 1 at the time which I had to take in the middle of all that. I did not do the 120 questions in combank that are supposed to act as a self assessment, I worked off their main qbank of 2200. Some questions on the shelf are word for word. But no more than like 2 each shelf.
