My friend has a single shot 12 gauge Keystone Arms Co. shotgun with a serial number A515370 on the tang and the same number absent the "A" on the inside. He inherited it from his father a number of years ago. I understand that his father owned it for quite a long time. I recently purchased a beat up old Springfield single shot 12 gauge shot gun. I'm having a very tough time identifying it. On the left side of the receiver it says: Springfield Arms Company Chicopee Falls MASS USA. Inside the receiver the numbers 54569 are stamped and I think a little A or an arrow next to those numbers.This shotgun is based on the G.S.
