A lot of the newer diving watches had this weird lume that looked like blobs of glue. I like the use and don't understand why people don't see it as a design choice. Becaue in the dark the lume is not powered, brightness diminishes with the duration in the dark. In tritiun tubes, lume is constantly powered (by the radioactive decay of tritium), so they constantly glow in the dark.
