Dec 21, 2020 · 2015 Passenger Window.. not a reset. So I left my outback parked for a few days with a dome light on. It did -not- kill the battery. Now my passenger wont move from EITHER passenger side OR driver side, so it isn't a dead battery reset. I've pulled the battery for 45 min to see if I could force a reset and no luck. The instructions for resetting the power windows are on page 2-37 of the manual. But the instructions do not work in this case. The front passenger window was down when the battery discharged (left the tailgate up), and so it is down now that the battery is charged and everything else is working. Also now that I removed the door panel completely and reinstalled it the driver's switch no longer operates the front passenger window or the rear driver's window. I ran the three windows through a "reset" I found on Youtube. At each individual switch, opened the window and closed it twice, and held the switch for 3-5 seconds upon closing. That reset everything and now all windows can be controlled from driver's door. Thank you to everyone who offered suggestions to fix this issue!
