Sounds like it coming from oil filter location. it does not do it all the time, just kinda comes and goes. From what I understand it is the injection pump making noise, the new engines are so quiet that it is more audible but all duramaxes do it and is normal, never noticed on the LMM but very noticeable on the L5P.
