Torque Converter Noise. Need help! 2002 F150 w/ 4.6L 2WD, @ 160k miles. Just rebuilt the engine after starting with exhaust manifold leak. Long story but necessary work. I still have a ticking noise very similar to the exhaust manifold leak sound that is coming from the torque converter. Noise starts with the engine and continues as I drive.
