Most of the professors I had seemed to only care about their research and their research grant and did not seem to care if their students succeed. Most important math and stat courses are of excellent quality, although some electives and online classes can be confusing or taught by mediocre profs. This is not coming from your "typical" student. I work full time and do not fit into most college stereotypes. (Never drank, smoked, partied etc.) But from my perspective I LOVE FAU the campus is beautiful and so far I haven't had a bad professor.
