Simplisafe doorbell camera works just fine with 24 volts. I already have a 24-volt transformer installed because that's what my old chime used, so that was easy.. There were 12v running through the existing doorbell wiring and it all looked ok as the doorbell lit up. However, the setup goes through an endless loop and can never connect to wi-fi. I chatted with support from SimpliSafe and they couldn't help.
