I am working on a file given to me from another consultant. The file has all of the levels based on the surveyor's elevations (i.e. the FF for the first floor is 104.5'). Select the levels you want, and click ok. If you need the floor plans for both phases, select a floorplan in the list, in the properties (all the way down), it will state what phase it's on. check it, right click on the floorplan in the list, select duplicate. Then set the Phase to the other option as the original.May 17, 2012 · As ahmed said, use the coping tool to "cut" a beam perpendicular into another. If you want to miter 2 beams at a corner, simply select one of the beams and right click on the blue dot on the end. You'll see a command for "Edit Beam/Column Join". Select that. Now, you'll see 2 arrows, one for each beam.

Swapnil. Families do not have line styles they use line patterns and subcategories (object styles). Remove the unwanted subcategories / line patterns before loading into the project. If you've already loaded the family you can still remove them through object styles/ line patterns dialogue, however this will act project wide.

There are tons of schedule in the model and it is hard to tell which ones are needed. I'm not seeing any easy way, since there's no prompt when you delete a schedule that is on a sheet. Only thing I can think of is to expand the sheets and right click/rename any schedules that are on it with something to get it to sort to the top.

If you are doing finishes this way you can only add them by room instance. In simple projects where we aren't applying materials we have shared parameters for ceiling, floor, wall base and all 4 walls.
