Let me try to explain better. I'll select auto heat from the t-stat. The red light seems to blink rapidly in a continuous pattern which I believe is the call for heat. The controller will indicate a fault condition by flashing the fault LED. The flashing pattern will be ¼ second on and ¼ second off for each count, if multiple faults are present it will dwell 2 seconds between each fault code, then dwell 5 seconds and repeat until the fault(s) are cleared.
