Configuration. I can't find the new Yuzu location since emudeck switched to appimage and the "Open Folder" options in Yuzu don't work. Someone suggested ~/.local/share/yuzu but /.local/ doesnt exist. Can someone share the direct path so I can install shaders and mods?The version of Yuzu on my Steam Deck is horrendously outdated, and without EmuDeck, I'm not sure how to install Yuzu. I managed to find the AppImage file for the latest Linux mainline release of Yuzu, but I'm unsure of the installation process. Do I need to uninstall the old instance of Yuzu, and then just run the AppImage file? Go to desktop mode, open Emudeck, Tools and Stuff, Check BIOS. This will check if the file is in the correct place and has the correct hash but might still be misnamed (capitalization matters). Cybertron77. You dont need to replace the current yuzu appimage in the applications folder. You simply drop the yuzu ea one in there. It just needs to be named right. I believe it's just yuzu-ea.appimage. if you open yuzu.sh with a Text editior, the filename it's looking for will be near the top. I just did this about a week ago myself.

Emudeck does install the flatpak for many of its emus so those would be the same either way but I think pcsx2 and yuzu don't use the same builds as the discover store so those would be the only ones you'd need to delete and really you wouldn't necessarily need to delete those you'd just have 2 different versions installed on your deck.
