Hello! I was wondering if anyone has had experience with or knows Walgreens' policy for refilling a controlled substance early. I'm traveling from 7/2 - 7/7. My refill would typically be availble on 7/4. My doctor sent in the refill with a note stating the days I'd be traveling and giving permission to process my rx early on 7/1.
This rule basically states that, legally, the pharmacy can fill a controlled substance, like oxycodone, up to seven days early over the life of the prescriptions for that particular drug (at a particular dose).
